NOTE: When submitting supporting documents, please ensure that all Social Security numbers are blocked out. We do not need that information. The Association will make every effort to review for and block out any that may slip through but its ultimately the resposability of the applicant.

More than one document substantiating qualification is recommended.

Family members of current or former Caisson Soldiers may provide a simple written or verbal confirmation from the Soldier if that Soldier is a current Association member in good standing. If the Soldier isn't a member of the Association then the family member must provide one or more of the documents required for General Membership.

The Assocation understands not only the historical impact of the Caisson mission but also the emotional attachment people feel seeing that mission performed by the men and women of the Caisson Platoon and for that reason you may be eligable for membership. Whether you're a famliy members of a Soldier that we've had the honor of escorting to their final resting place in Arlington National Cemetery, a history buff, an animal lover, or just a member of the public who has an afinity for the Caisson Platoon and its mission, we greatly appreciate your support and are allowing you to apply for Associate membership in the Association. We ask that you take the time to write a short essay that explains what the Caisson Platoon means to you and why you should be considered for membership. It can uploaded with your membership application.

Don't be this guy...

Actually, we hope you are that guy because we would welcome you into the Association with open arms (and a free membership based on your age). Unfortunately, this type of supporting document does not meet our verification requirements.
